UPDATE JUNE 10, 2007

One day I'm gonna break down and start a whole new journal, but that will wait for another time. Ok first things First The poll will carry over to the 22nd of June, hopefully we will not have a tie at that time as we do at the moment. If we do have a tie, we will hold a two week tie breaker between just those two images. Second of all I would like to apoligize to those of you out there who have left us a note, They will be read and answered as soon as possible, just not sure how soon that will be have not seen or spoken to the other two in quite some time. Again I would like to apoligize for the slowness of our responses, hopefully things will be picking up soon though.

guess I should mention who did the update so everyone knows who to get mad at, if I can't bring the boys back fast enough, it's me StarfallRedcat.

Poll thingy all set up now we just need the votes to come in, well now I'm off to go chasing down some of the boys before the other two get back and find them missing, hmm wonder if they'll be mad at me in I bring some new boys as well?

Ok that's it since we seem to have balloxed(spelling help) up this voting thing what with the three of us seeming to be impossible to get together right now I'm making a snap decision, just hope the boys don't decide to make a run for it since it is me making a decision here. Anyways gonna get this voting started sorry it's taken so dang long to have happen, (now to figure out how to set up the poll thingy). Be back soon with the poll to vote on.

Gonna carry on the tradition of just adding to the top of this entry specially since the respose does concern this contest. Oh by the way the is StarfallRedcat, I also would like to add my apologies to the lenght of time this is taking to have the voting up and ready to go. No worries I am not backing out of rewarding the prizes for whenever we do finally get the vote up and running . We do still plan to have other such contests in the future, hopefully they will run much more smoothly then this one has turned out to be.

As for those of you who have sent notes in and have not recieved a reply yet please be patient just a bit longer we have not forgotten you, things just have not been going as planned this time. Please bear with us just a little bit longer and everything should be on the move and going forward soon.

Hey everyone! This is a really quick update-- I haven't had time to read notes or messages yet, but I will soon!
Things have been REALLY hectic in Catty's life-- Vixen's too, 'cause she's working now ;~; , and possibly Starfall's (...I need to talk to you more often >>; ) and we haven't been able to connect over the contest yet.

WE APOLOGIZE! *groveling on Catty's part* ...I don't like to make other people grovel against their will, but I'm sure they feel the same way >>

I promise we WILL judge this thing, and we will give out the prizes. We appreciate you guys for participating and continuing to put up with our lateness.
It seems like each one of the three of us has tried at one point or another to get the other two together, but I don't know why it hasn't worked >__<;;;

Just wait a LITTLE longer, and we'll have everything sorted out!

Alright folks, here I am! Starfall Redcat at your service, and I’m bringing you the rest of the news on this month’s hot contest! (Why is it hot? ‘Cause we’re gonna see lovely boy arts from all our awesome members!! Yay!)

So, this time around we’re going to keep the rules and subject matter fairly simple. So, first off here are the rules!

Rules:
1) All images must fall within the DA TOS
2) All submissions must be submitted via note with the word ‘contest’ in the subject line.
3) And all submissions must follow club rules. For an overview of our rules refer to here

Alright, now on to the contest! We have three main themes for you to choose from and three secondary themes.

Our main themes are:

Ribbons

Chocolate

Love

And our Secondary themes are:

Flowers

Cupid

Sweets
( Sweets don’t necessarily have to be candy; there are a lot of sweet things in the world! *wink*)

Now, for the contest you must choose at least one main theme and one secondary theme. You can always use more than one theme, and the combination of themes are up to you! Just remember, the better you incorporate a theme into your work the more points you’ll score from the judges. As for media you man use traditional art, digital art, or photo (shooting), or any other form of visual art work to show what you think a Valentine moment would be like between two (or one!) of your favorite boys.

Hey guys! It’s me, ~hanyouvixen here to give you the rest of the info on our glorious contest!

Our lovely Founder, Catty-chan and our equally lovely Mod. Starfall have explained the basics of how this contest will work. I’m here to tell you how the judging will be held and when the deadline is!

So, onwards my minions! *smacked*

*cough* Alright, n’ways. First off the deadline:

Deadline is: February 28th!

So, after Feb. 28th we will no longer be taking any more entries! Make sure to have everything done by then!

Judging will be held in two sets. First set will consist of the three judges: ~Nimbo-Stratus, *StarfallRedcat, and ~hanyouvixen picking two of our favorite entries each. That means that only six entries will be chosen for the final rounds. After that it will be a process of elimination by -- *drum roll* OUR MEMBERS!

Yes! You heard me right! After the judges have picked the finalists, all judging shall be left up to you guys! We will post a poll for the club with the titles and links to the top finalists and you will each vote on your favorite picture. The picture with the most votes will be our 1st place winner, and so on so forth for the second and third place winners.

The preliminary judging will be held in the first week of March (yes, I know this seems like a long time away, but we want to give you all lotsa time to make lovely pictures for us to droo-- er...judge!) And the final voting will be held the week after. So, just in case you didn’t get that:

Preliminary Judging: 1st week of March
Final Voting: 2nd week of March
